Winter Babywearing – A babyWAWL Giveaway

January 25, 2012

A few weeks ago I posted on tips for making babywearing easier in the winter. One of my tips was to wrap a larger coat around you, and several people posted about maternity coats or specially made jackets that would work as well. All of them costing quite a bit. So I was thrilled when a company called babyWAWL contacted me to see if I’d be interested in giving away one of their products to you, a product that makes winter babywearing 100x easier.

A babyWAWLeliminates the need for the $350 maternity or specialty babywearing coat. Their product zips into your jacket and across a front wearing carrier to keep you and your child warm outside. All you need is a hat, coat, and babyWAWL.

BOOM. Can’t get any easier than that. Small enough to fit into a pouch on your diaper bag, the babyWAWL comes in a Deluxe for colder winter weather, and a Classic for mild days – both with several choices of colors.

Want one right now? Use the code HIMBAL05 for $5 any babyWAWL – good through the end of February.

One lucky babywearing reader is going to win their choice of babyWAWL. Please note that to be able to use the babyWAWL properly, you will need to have a YKK zippered jacket, easily located on the back of the zipper pull. Entry is made simple with Rafflecopter. I’ll choose a winner next week – good luck!

Awesome baby winter wrap. Going to order it as winter is about to start in Australia now.

I needed this yesterday! It was a mild 55 here, but I was out and about wearing my wrap. But I don’t have a jacket big enough to zip up over my wrap. This is ingenious! And I love the baby blue or black. Goes with everything!

I was JUST having this conversation with my husband about how hard it is to stay warm when wearing my daughter!

I’d have to go with the black and grey deluxe; I’m pretty sure the blue and the red would look terrible with my teal coat.

And oh yeah – I would go with the black!

This looks amazing! I would always just wear my husband’s jacket when we would take Anna out in the cold weather, but this is MUCH more fashionable!!

I love this! My coat does not reach all the way around the baby, so this would be perfect!

Deluxe in gray, no doubt. There have been a number of times I wanted to wear our little darling in the past few weeks but haven’t because it’s been way too cold! Wearing is SO much easier than lugging that car seat!

I need this for my baby wearing nanny days in the Connecticut winter! My coat is cobalt blue, so I think black or gray would be best.
