This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Huggies, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HuggiesSwimmers http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO
It’s around 103*+ here nearly every day. Which means we spend a lot of time in the water. I have a pool bag we keep in the car for times when we’re out and decide to stop at the military base splash park or jump in the pool at a friend’s home.
In our bag is the usual – change of clothing, swimsuit, hat, sunscreen, books for reading while drying off, etc – and then a must have around here. A swim diaper. Most of the places we go state very clearly that cloth diapers aren’t allowed on children in a pool/water setting, so we keep our Huggies Little Swimmers in the bag at all times.
Here’s what I love about them:
- My 3 1/2 year old can put them on herself.
- They don’t blow up (at all) in the water, yet they absorb any accidents.
- They are easy for her to take off on her own.
- She loves the designs.
- They leave no marks on her skin at all.
- They cover her really nicely.
We also use them at our home. Water is expensive here in the desert, and although Bella is amazing about telling us when she needs to use the restroom (seriously, easiest part of parenting her was potty training) we still have had a couple accidents. This means that we have to dump the pool, and not fill it up for a while.
I also keep a pack in the house for our friend’s kids, so we’re always set and don’t have to worry about ruining a playdate. Thankfully there are only 3 sizes because of the stretchy tabs, so hers fit a variety of size and weight.
