The Pioneer Woman – A Year Of Holidays Cookbook Giveaway!

The Pioneer Woman - A Year Of Holidays Cookbook Giveaway!

You all know my undying adoration of The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond. I met her last year at BlogHer and literally almost passed out. Ask Rebecca (another amazing cook), I think by the time Ree and her girls came through the door she might have been googling nearby hospitals to take me to.

Anyway. Her new cookbook was just launched yesterday (one of many) and I’ve had it for a few weeks and been able to look it over.

Pioneer Woman Cookbook-1

Pioneer Woman Cookbook-5

Basically it’s amazing.

Pioneer Woman Cookbook-4

It has menus and recipes for holidays during the year – all planned out. No guesswork, no wondering what you’re going to fix for picky eaters. Pages and pages of gorgeous, creative, easy to fix food with step by step guides. You know she’s famous for those pictures that make putting things together so much easier for us visual learners.

Pioneer Woman Cookbook-3

There have been nights I curl up with the book on the couch with hot tea and just – browse, fall in love, and then figure out if it’s too late to attempt to fix the cravings I now have with something subpar from my pantry.

Pioneer Woman Cookbook-2

So while I’m totally in love with it (and already planned Thanksgiving and Christmas – both eve and day) – I also want you guys to love it too.

You can not only win one of THREE, but the copy you get will be signed by Ree herself and shipped to you.

A huge congrats to Ree on the beautiful book. You can find her cooking on the Food Network (my parents just love her and watch religiously), and her blog.

Good luck everyone!

This seems like a “real” cookbook: no fad gimmicks, no trips to Whole Foods to get ingredients I have never heard of before, or sad feelings that I can’t make half the recipes because I don’t have those kitchen appliances.

  7. Amy Allemann says

I need most help cooking for Thanksgiving as I have a HUGE family, extended family all of which descend on my house!

  9. Amy Willis says

I had a mother who screamed, not kidding, literally screamed, at us if we went into the kitchen. She wanted nothing to do with us, and now being a wife and mother myself my cooking skills are limited to classes I took in high school and things my mother in law has taught me. I could definitely use this!
