(everywhere you go!)
Bella and I stood in the garage and watched them unload the pallets. She kept asking if we were going to set up the room today. It’s hard to be 4 and have to wait for fun things.
Also – trash day here.
The painter arrived and is currently painting the room a beautiful color – perfect for the photo shoot and tons of natural light in there. Charlie has had a morning of barking his crazy little head clean off. So.much.barking.
Then we got to peek at the boxes, just a little. I’m not unwrapping a thing until the team gets here on Thursday. I don’t want any dents or scratches. A lot of it has to be put together. We have more stuff being sent out by mail, but this is the bulk of the room!
I can’t tell you how unreal this seems. For years I’ve poured over homeschool rooms online, hoping one day mine might be a place like them. Since teaching, I’ve missed having that space, that organization of a classroom. I stood in our room today, looked out the window, and told myself, “It’s really happening.”
I can’t wait to show you guys what it looks like. One week!!
