    One Wipe Wonder for the Mess-Makers

    June 17, 2014

    This post is sponsored by Huggies but all opinions and messes are my own. Huggies just makes the mess part easier to clean up. Lately we’ve taken all kinds of trips with Bella – short and much longer. We are headed out next week to California for my grandma’s 90th birthday – just Bella and…

    How to Simplify the Last Step of Potty Training

    February 3, 2014

    This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Cottonelle but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #CtnlCareRoutine  http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO I’ve mentioned before that Bella was amazingly simple to potty train. She’s been completely day time trained for nearly 2 years, nighttime since October, and we’ve never had any major…

    Routines, Poop, that darn Paci, and Baby Names

    April 7, 2012

    This week has been INSANE. Truly. And I’m loving every minute. But I’m not going to lie, I am really looking forward to getting past the learning curve of working from home and keeping up two blogs. And finding a picture for each post for Babble. Killer. Pics for twin anything is killer. My brain…

    The Potty Training Chronicles – Day 1

    April 4, 2012

    Yesterday Bella went pee on the potty. It was a really big deal here. We’ve been doing some casual (super casual) training for the past few weeks. Basically by training I mean I let her run around either with just pants or a dress on, no diaper, and then she pees. And I explain that…

{About Me}

Diana Stone

I'm Diana, and my blog is about loss, grief, motherhood, trauma, faith, moments of incredible wonder, candid thoughts, and a little snark. You can find more details on our story here.
Sam and I have been married since I was 19. He was 20. He's an OIF, medically retired veteran of the Army and Marines. We have 5 children - Bella was born in 2009 after a rather bumpy pregnancy and her first year was mostly crazy reflux. Preston and Julian, my identical twins, were born at 20 weeks in 2012 and lived only a few hours. Kaden was born full term in 2013 seemingly perfect, and at 4 days old he was found to have cardiomyopathy due to ciHHV-6. He passed away at 3 weeks old. Charlotte was born in 2015, and was a complete surprise to us. Each of them have changed our lives completely.
Currently I'm in school to become a counselor who focuses on trauma and grief.
I love Jesus - even though sometimes I get really angry and upset at the way our life has gone. I hope through my faults, insecurities, snarkiness, selfish nature, and general mess - my love for Christ and His work in my life shines through in my story.
