I don’t know what to say. So this is what you get.

June 1, 2011

I haven’t blogged in a week because so much has happened. Thinking about writing it all, heck, even just where to start is exhausting.

But to sum it up – we are moving a lot sooner than expected. Like in 3-4 weeks. To El Paso still. I’ve found some cute townhomes that we really like near the base. No more apartments if I can help it. I’m over climbing 3 flights to get to our apartment and having the guy downstairs get his panties in a wad because Bella’s walking around.

Georgia was awesome and super stressful at the same time. We had our flight canceled on Wednesday, rerouted for weather on Thursday, got a hotel room with broken air conditioning at 2am, took Bella to the ER for round 5 of croup on Friday, and Sunday after we took her to Tybee beach near Savannah we hit a deer head on, totaled the rental car, and spent 3 hours fighting with Budget about getting us a new one, getting us back to the hotel at 1am.

::stabs Budget::

But, all in all it was a great trip filled with lots and lots of memories. That we will never, ever forget. Good and bad. 🙂 And the fact that we killed a poor little deer.

I got home today and plan on starting to pack the house up tomorrow.

Besides that fun, BlogHer is coming up and I’m really starting to get excited over that. I hope everyone that is going is prepared for me to TOTALLY FREAK OUT when I get to meet you. ::cough-Blair/TheNextMartha/BlogHerRoomies-cough::

For realz.

I promise to have more interesting posts in the next few days after I get some sleep.

P.S. I lost all my pics on my iPhone due to my incredible iTunes synching stupidness, and Facebook won’t let you copy them any more. So I have cute pics, but they are being held hostage.

    I cannot believe Bella had croup again. Seriously. Poor kid. I think I said the exact same thing when she had it for the 4th time. Can you she go to a specialist or sometihng? Poor you too. Sick toddlers are NOT fun. I know you are stressed, but I have to admit that I am kind of excited to hear about your moving adventures…and El Paso, haha. Hopefully you guys find a decent place to live 🙂

    Oh my goodness! What a stressy weekend for you guys – so sorry!! Here I was hoping you were having so much fun. (I’m kind of on a Twitter-diet these days…)

    Good luck with the packing – so happy you’re all ok. Hitting a big animal like that is so scary!

    Wow that sounds like something that would happen to me. It always seems like it happens all at once too – for us, it was all of 2010. Too bad Texas is so bad, we could be neighbors!

      I know – it’s so huge. I loved Dallas, everyone was so nice there. I kept wishing we had gotten stationed at Ft. Hood. :/ But El Paso it is!

      AH! I *knew* I missed someone there! 🙁
      It was a mess anyway, we spent hours waiting to get to the beach because we went Memorial Day weekend. And then we just came straight home after an hour there. And then we killed a deer…
